Hi! We're Sapphire Flame Games, an LGBT+ indie gamedev studio based in Houston. We were founded in 2022, and our goal is to bring an ever-expanding universe to life through our games and creative efforts! Our current project is Thunder Edge, a high-voltage action platformer inspired by the console classics of old and beloved superhero media!

ABOUT THE ME

DrgnBeauty is the founder (and currently, the only member) of Sapphire Flame Games, and she's a game programmer, pixel artist and musician. With over 10 years of experience in GameMaker, a passion for her art and music, and way too many ideas to reasonably make in one lifetime, she wants to bring as many of those ideas to life as she can! She has a fond appreciation of classic games from the 80s and 90s, and that appreciation has inspired her as a gamedev. She also really enjoys listening to power metal and playing fighting games in her spare time. Also, she's totally a dragon IRL. Just trust me on this one.
